We designed a very special custom designed light show for Quincy. He sent over a rough video of the rountine and we designed a light show around that to match his movements so the lights moved with him and his backup dancers. It was a great opportunity for us to flex and we love the results. See the light show section for the wide.
Qunicy picked the musical number which was a perfect fit for the space and what we could do. It creates a lot of movement in feeling alone so paring that with his routine and our lighting it was certainly a fun shoot.
We wanted to create a real broadway type feel with the intro symbolizing stepping out on stage. Being a real broadway performer it was a pleasure working with Quincy and he took notes amazingly well. We kept with the Pink & Cyan palette throughout and really worked with camera filters to give that sparkly pop.
