We designed a cutsom light show to Ufuoma’s music with the color purple, white and blue taking the main stage. We wanted some that flowed with the song and gave space where needed. I think the guys did a great job with this one.
The artist wanted every part of this to feel organic down to the audio being live. Our space is fully sound proofed and treated so it was a simple case of a mic to best suit her vocal, some in-ear monitors and let her do her thing. We captured everything through our Rodecaster Pro and mastered her vocal in post.
We wanted Ufuoma’s voice and spirt to do all the talking, and simply complement her charisma and presence. We chose a palette fitting for her dress and worked with bouncing color onto the white fabric to make her more part of the environment. For something seemingly so simple we always take the necessary steps in our prep work to make sure our clients imagination comes to life.
